The National Resource Center on Children and Families of the Incarcerated (NRCCFI) at Family and Corrections Network (FCN) began in 1983 to raise awareness about the needs of families of the incarcerated. They provide state, national and international directories of programs serving children and families. They also provide conference dates, books, films, research, and training on how to mentor children of prisoners.
