New Evidence Produced Days Before Planned Execution

Former Philadelphia prosecutor Andrea Foulkes repeatedly stated she did not have evidence that would have helped the defense in the Terry Williams death penalty case. After years of appeals where she continued to deny having information that may have aided the defense, she finally testified about a note not given to the defense before saying, "It looks like notes about an interview. That is my handwriting." She continues, "Touched on privates," Foulkes said, reading from her notes. "Brought boy home and told him not to say anything. Heard from others about possible incidents." At trial the jury never heard about the sexual abuse the defendant suffered by the victim and found Terry Williams guilty of murder sentencing him to the death penalty.
