FAST or False Allegations Solutions Team is an email organization of international volunteers that help people falsely accused of child sexual abuse. They are not attorneys, do not charge for assistance and can help with a defense strategy. Unfortunately they do not have the resources to provide help at this time but they do have explanatory articles and newsletters that may be helpful.

The Center For Wrongful Convictions was founded in 1998. It is a university-based innocence project. They have helped exonerate 34 people, 13 of which were on death row. Additionally, 14 people were exonerated before the organization was founded. The Center For Wrongful Convictions helps in cases with no DNA evidence. They have developed cutting-edge expertise in cases involving false confessions, jailhouse informants and fire deaths.

The Justice Reform Coalition was established in 2005 to reform the entire justice system. They aid victims of the legal system to obtain justice in their individual cases. The Justice Reform Coalition also challenges courts and their officials, stands up to law enforcement, helps citizens hold officials accountable, works with other progressive organizations, and provides training and support for community advocates.

The Innocence Project was founded in 1992. Their organization has exonerated 292 wrongly convicted people in the United States. They typically represent prisoners who through DNA testing can be proven innocent. The Innocence Project website has information about reforms needed in the legal system to help reduce the number of wrongful convictions. These topics include: eyewitness identification, false confessions, DNA testing, Evidence preservation, forensic oversight, innocence commissions, exoneree compensation. Other topics include: evidence preservation, innocence commissions, and false confessions, government misconduct, informants, and bad lawyering. You can also browse or search profiles of exonerated people.

Centurion Ministries was founded in 1983 in Princeton, New Jersey. It is not affiliated with religion. Their organization is an investigative agency that helps free innocent people convicted of crimes. Most of their cases are non-DNA cases. Centurion Ministries helps with cases in both the United States and Canada. They generally take on about 20 cases at a time in various stages of investigation.

Association In Defense of the Wrongfully Accused (AIDWYC) is a Canadian organization founded in 1993. It is made up of 50 volunteers who have reviewed hundreds of cases. They have exonerated 14 individuals. To be considered for help you must have been convicted of a serious crime, exhausted all appeals, and be innocent of the crime for which you were convicted.

Truth in Justice is a non-profit corporation whose main goal is to heighten public awareness of the epidemic of wrongful convictions. They refer wrongfully convicted persons to appropriate resources, but they do not personally provide advocacy services.
